If you receive the error message below please follow the steps in this article:
Error message: It looks like we've not heard from your PC/Server in the last 24 hours. Your computer/service keeps in contact with us regularly to receive new information which then goes into Sage. As we've not heard from your PC/server in the last 24 hours nothing will have transferred. Please make sure your PC/server is on, connected to the internet and has the Sage interface installed.
Check if the Sage interface service is running
- Open up 'Services' on your PC
- Locate SageInterfaceService and SageInterfaceUpdateService names
- They should both be running, if they are you will need to restart them. Once done please wait 15mins and refresh the commusoft integration page and see if the error disappears. Your IT can help you with this.
If the services are not running or the above doesn't work, please follow these instructions below:
Uninstall existing Sage Interface
Go to Windows 'Search' > Type control panel in the search box, Click 'Control Panel' > Under 'View by' select 'Large Icons' > click 'Programs and Features' > Click the program 'SageInterface' > Click Uninstall > Click 'Close' to complete the uninstall
Install Sage Interface and integrate to Sage Line 50/Sage Instant
Within Commusoft > Click on ‘Your Business’ > ‘Company Details’ > ‘Integrations’ Tab > Click ‘Click here for Advanced Settings’ > Click Download Sage Interface
A web page will open allowing you to download the Sage Interface for Commusoft > Click ‘Download’
Locate the downloaded application on your PC/Server > Right click on the file and ‘Run as Administrator’to install > The install window will show and disappear once completed
Return to Commusoft when this is installed
Click 'Edit' on this page. This will allow you to specify the new data path. If you do not edit the data path, Commusoft will send the data to the old location.
Integration interface update has now been completed, you will see the integration dashboard
